Thank you for joining us at our Drivers Appreciation Day BBQ in New York! On July 29, hundreds of rideshare drivers, delivery workers, and our families came together in Flushing Meadows Corona Park to celebrate everything we’ve done in the last year. Since our launch in February 2022, we’ve been fighting non-stop to improve the lives of the 100,000+ app workers in New York, and it was great to have a chance to relax with our friends and family and appreciate our community.
The Drivers Appreciation Day BBQ was just what we needed to feel recharged and ready to take on the billion-dollar app companies. Together, we can transform this industry and make sure we get raises, better safety protections, an end to unfair deactivations, the right to form a union, and more!
