THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING JUSTICE FOR APP WORKERS IN 2024!

Justice for App Workers is taking on the app companies in 2025 – and with your help, we’re going to win!

2024 was a huge year for drivers and delivery workers. We kicked off the year with historic rideshare strikes in 10 cities across the country on Valentine’s Day, the largest app worker action in history. In Illinois, we held a press conference to call attention to the wage theft crisis faced by immigrant Lyft drivers in the state. Rideshare and delivery workers came together to hold another massive strike on May Day in several cities across the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.

This year, we formed a truly national coalition of rideshare and delivery workers in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, Hartford, Providence, and more. In Miami and Orlando, Florida rideshare and delivery drivers held a press conference and rally to speak out about their struggles with illegal and fake Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, and Uber Eats accounts, and called on Governor DeSantis to fix the issue.

Rideshare drivers and delivery workers rallied to end lockouts in New York as Uber, Lyft, UberEats, Grubhub, and DoorDash did everything in their power to hurt workers’ pockets. In 2025, we will continue working to end app lockouts for delivery workers.

One thing is clear through all of the coalition’s victories this year: together, we’re stronger than any billion-dollar app company. Around the world, app workers are committed to transforming this industry for all of us.

We have big plans for 2025 – we’re going to win better safety protections for app workers, end unfair deactivation from the apps, and fight for our right to form a union. But we need your help. Follow Justice for App Workers and spread the word to stay updated on the movement and help us transform the app work industry!

In solidarity,

Justice for App Workers
