Join us in remembrance of the app workers we’ve lost.
We all know the fears that come with being a rideshare driver or delivery worker. So many of our fellow app workers have been harassed, carjacked, assaulted, and killed, and app companies need to do more to keep us safe.
Join us to honor the friends we have lost. The memorial will take place on Wednesday, June 25 at 11:00 am at Little Bay Park. Drivers and delivery workers will speak in remembrance of the app workers who passed due to violence and accidents. All app workers and families are welcome.
We need policies in place that better protect us. That includes improved safety standards such as dash cams, panic buttons, bans on fake names, and harsher punishments for customers who assault app workers. And if workers are killed on the job, we need to ensure that companies give just compensation to their families.
With app workers being injured and killed every day, we are fighting to make our jobs safer. We hope to see you all on Wednesday, June 25 at Little Bay Park. Together, let’s fight to make this industry safe for all of us.

As TLC drivers, we are unfairly burdened by the $13.88 daily toll for the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge/Far Rockaway, especially since return trips to Staten Island are rare. We’ve created a petition to fight back. The current policy forces us to absorb this cost, significantly impacting our earnings. And between rent, car insurance and maintenance, app companies’ commissions, and more, this policy really hurts us.
We urge the TLC to:
- Reimburse all tolls incurred during professional duties.
- Support fair treatment for drivers who keep NYC moving!
- Sign this petition to support hard-working drivers who are just trying to do our jobs.

We’re going to continue fighting for fair pay in New York!
Rideshare drivers work extremely hard for this city, and in return, we deserve a wage that allows us to do our jobs without worrying about putting food on the table for our families.
We need a wage that keeps pace with the rising cost of living in New York. While we don’t have a fair decision on driver pay yet, we are keeping watch and prepared to take to the streets on this issue to ensure that the TLC and the app companies does right by New York drivers.
There are tens of thousands of app workers in New York City, and we know that if we work together, we can win better pay for rideshare drivers.
