At the first Justice for App Workers NATIONAL General Meeting on Tuesday, dozens of workers across the country gathered to recommit to taking on app companies in 2024. Rideshare and delivery drivers joined from Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, and South Carolina, as we looked ahead to our next national action.

We voted on our campaigns to win fair wages, better safety protections, and an end to unfair deactivations, and left the meeting with renewed energy!

Here is a snapshot of the results from our meeting:

    • Workers were overwhelmingly in favor of holding the next JFAW national action in MAY 🌹🌹
    • Workers want our next strike to focus on the issues of app worker wages and unfair deactivations 💵 🚫
  • Delivery workers want to highlight the need for higher wages 💵 💵
  • JFAW members want a national day of action on app worker safety this year 💪
  • More states are excited and ready to join the Justice for App Workers Coalition!
