WBBM NEWSRADIO – Chicago rideshare drivers brought their latest protest to O’Hare Airport on Tuesday as Lyft representatives disagree they are being treated poorly by the company.
Lenny Sanchez of the Independent Drivers Guild said members of his group were passing out information about their complaints to passengers, and in some cases are refusing to pick up customers as a protest.
He claims Lyft is giving drivers less money, even as customers are paying more.
He also accuses Lyft of ignoring safety issues facing drivers, blocking efforts to unionize, and deactivating drivers based on unfair or false customer complaints without letting drivers defend themselves.
