TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3: RALLY IN FLORIDA FOR APP WORKER PAY AND SAFETY PROTECTIONS!

Florida rideshare and delivery drivers are struggling with illegal and fake Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, and Uber Eats accounts that are cutting into our earnings. We’re rallying at the Orlando and Miami airports on December 3 to tell the government that we need action!

It is up to us to demand the action necessary to protect both drivers and passengers from illegal Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, and Uber Eats accounts. These illegal accounts not only endanger the lives of customers who trust the app companies to provide safe transportation, but they also unfairly compete with legitimate drivers like us who work hard to make an honest living.

That’s why we’re holding a press conference and rally on Tuesday, December 3 at 10am at both the Orlando International Airport TNP Waiting Lot and Miami International Airport TNP Waiting Lot. Join us to call on Governor DeSantis to immediately enforce stricter regulations to prevent these fraudulent accounts from jeopardizing the safety and security of all Floridians.

Rideshare and delivery drivers are the backbone of Florida’s economy, yet we are often left vulnerable to sudden deactivation without warning or recourse. Many drivers struggle to earn a living wage after expenses, and without the necessary protections, we are at risk of being pushed out of jobs we rely on to support our families.

We need to ensure that drivers are treated with the dignity and respect we deserve and that customers can trust the safety of their rideshare and delivery experience. Join app drivers in Miami and Orlando at 10 am on December 3 to urge Governor DeSantis to take immediate action. Together, we can make a difference and transform our industry!

In solidarity,

Justice for App Workers
